How payouts work
When a customer pays for your product, the payment arrives in BlackSea's account. Then we:
- Withhold the platform commission.
- Withhold and pay your taxes for you (more below).
- Transfer the rest to you — your net payout.
This means you don't need your own merchant account, a bank agreement, or ФОП status to start selling. BlackSea accepts the payment and settles with you.
BlackSea commission
- 10% — on sales through your direct product link.
- 15% — on sales through the marketplace catalog (when the buyer found you through BlackSea).
The commission is withheld automatically from each sale. There are no separate payments for it.
Taxes: BlackSea is your tax agent
If you sell as an individual (not a sole proprietor / ФОП), BlackSea acts as your tax agent: we withhold and pay your income taxes for you:
- 18% personal income tax
- 5% military levy
These amounts are withheld before the payout is transferred. You don't need to separately declare this income or pay tax on it yourself — we do this for you.
If you are a ФОП: you receive your payout without PIT and military levy withheld, and you pay taxes yourself under your tax system. Indicate your ФОП status in your payment settings.
Where payouts go
Payouts are made in hryvnia to a Ukrainian bank account or card.
To receive payouts, you need:
- A Ukrainian card or account (IBAN)
- Identification details (full name, РНОКПП tax number)
Payouts are made only in hryvnia to a Ukrainian bank account or card. We don't pay out in foreign currency or to foreign payment systems.
Payout schedule and threshold
Payouts happen once a week — every Friday. You don't need to request a payout separately.
- On Friday you receive the whole balance accumulated by the payout day, including sales from that same week. There is no waiting period after a sale.
- The minimum payout is 100 UAH. A smaller balance carries over to the next Friday and is paid as soon as it passes the threshold.
What you need to set up
To start receiving payouts, fill in your Payment settings:
- Payout method (card / IBAN).
- Identification details (full name, РНОКПП, status: individual or ФОП).
- Confirm your details.
Payout reports
In the payouts section you can download a report for each payout: sales, BlackSea commission withheld, taxes withheld, and the final amount transferred.
