Filling out payout settings
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Use your full legal name and/or full sole proprietor (ФОП) name.
- Provide valid contact details.
Choosing your account type
First, choose how you operate — as an individual or as a sole proprietor (ФОП):
Choose "Individual" if you work under your own name and don't have sole proprietor (ФОП) registration. In this case, BlackSea acts as your tax agent and withholds taxes on your behalf (more on this below).
Choose "Sole proprietor (ФОП)" if you are registered as an entrepreneur. Then you receive your payout without tax withholding and pay taxes yourself under your tax system.
Details and identity verification
Payouts are made in hryvnia to a Ukrainian bank account or card. In your payout settings, provide:
- Full legal name (for sole proprietors — also registration details)
- RNOKPP (taxpayer registration number)
- Payout details — card number or IBAN account
- Contact details: phone and email
All the information you add is transmitted over a secure channel and is used only to make payouts and fulfill tax obligations. BlackSea does not share your bank details with third parties.
We pay out only in hryvnia to a Ukrainian account or card. Payouts in foreign currency, as well as via PayPal, Payoneer, or Wise, are not supported.
Taxes
If you are an individual, BlackSea is your tax agent: we withhold and pay 18% personal income tax (PDFO) and 5% military levy on your behalf. The amount you receive is the amount after tax withholding.
If you are a sole proprietor (ФОП), no taxes are withheld — you pay them yourself. Learn more in the Taxes on BlackSea article.
When payouts arrive
Payouts happen once a week — every Friday: you receive the whole balance accumulated by the payout day, as long as it is at least 100 UAH. You don't need to request a payout separately. Learn more — How to get paid on BlackSea.
Frequently asked questions
Can I skip filling in the payout settings? No. To receive funds, the payout settings must be filled in completely.
Can I change the card or account for payouts? Yes. Update your details in the payout settings — future payouts will go to the new account.
Why is the RNOKPP needed? It is required to fulfill tax obligations: for individuals, BlackSea pays taxes as a tax agent, and for sole proprietors the RNOKPP identifies the payout recipient.
