What currency does blacksea use?
BlackSea supports several display currencies for product prices.
This means you have the flexibility to display your products in the currency of your choice. At checkout, the transaction is converted to UAH at the current exchange rate. BlackSea uses up-to-date exchange rates to process purchases.
In your Product settings menu, you can choose the default currency for new products.

Once a product has been created, its display currency cannot be changed.
You'll need to recreate the product to change the display currency.
Customers can pay with a card from any Ukrainian bank, as well as international Visa/Mastercard cards.
What does this mean for payouts?
For all card / bank-transfer sales: BlackSea pays you out in UAH to your Ukrainian bank account (IBAN). All currency conversions happen at the exchange rate at the time of sale, not at the time of payout.
Supported display currencies:
- UAH — Ukrainian hryvnia (default)
- USD — US dollar
All fees and payouts are calculated in UAH. For sales in USD, conversion is applied at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
